FAQ

How does it work?

Once your picnic is booked, on your scheduled date we arrive 1 hour prior to your arrival so everything is ready for your event! After your finished relaxing, we come at the agreed time and pack up & clean up everything for you! So you can walk away and enjoy the rest of your day or evening. 

How early should I book?
The sooner the better the chance to guarantee your preferred date. We do recommend at least 2 week notice, but can try our best to make things happen if booking last minute.  

Where do you set up?

We set up picnics at parks, and private locations (ex. your house, or backyard, balcony) . If you want an outdoor setting, we can recommend parks in NJ that we work with. 

Do you charge security deposit?

We have hand picked beautiful props, and table wear for you to enjoy a memorable setting. Therefore, we will charge a $150 security deposit that will be returned to you 12 hours after pack up and clean up is done. Some spillage may require dry cleaning, broken items will need to be replaced, this will be deducted from deposit. Accidents happen, please let us know if there is a spill as we may be able to clean it and avoid a charge. 

Can I bring my own food?

Your are more than welcome to bring your own food! We will provide you with everything you need such as glasses, silverware, napkins etc. 

Do you provide food?

Our picnics do not come with food , but some of our packages include charcuterie/cheese board, or dessert board. Charcuterie/cheese, or dessert boards can be added to any package.

What if it rains?

Due to the nature of our business, we always recommend having a back up plan for picnic locations. It is the client's responsibility to have a back up plan/ venue. We can always set up in your home, and we do offer clear globe add on option. Around 72 hours prior to your picnic, we will touch base with you if forecast is looking unfavorable. At this stage we can discuss relocation or rescheduling.

Are picnics refundable ?

Unfortunately, we don't offer any refunds as we have held your date and turned down other events to do so, but we can reschedule your reservation date (subject to availability) one time without penalty up to 72 hours before your picnic date. 

Within 72 hours there will be a fee of $20 per person. 

What if I'm running late?

While we are here to make your day relaxing and beautiful, we ask that you respect our time and arrive at the agreed time. We may have other bookings we need to set up. 

Can we leave whenever we want?

You are responsible for the items until we return to pack them up. If you would like to leave earlier than agreed, please provide us  30 min notice with a call or text. 

Do you offer gift certificates?

Yes! Certificates are available for purchase, once paid for certificate will be mailed to you. Certificate is valid for 1 year from issued date. 

Are there bathroom facilities?

Most parks usually provide bathroom facilities. 

Can I add last minute guest?

You can add an additional guest 24 hrs prior to event for a set fee, as we plan for picnics ahead of time, and we have packed everything for the number of guests originally scheduled for.
